The Los Angeles Clippers are signing guard Justin Bibbs of the Maine Red Claws to a 10-day contract Wednesday, per Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
Bibbs signed as an undrafted free agent who played his college basketball career at Virginia Tech for four years. Bibbs played for the Celtics summer league team and went to training camp with the team but ultimately was cut by the Celtics.
He would then sign a contract with the Red Claws.
He has not appeared in a game for the Celtics this season.
Bibbs averaged 11.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.8 steals per game for the Red Claws this season while shooting 41.4 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from three-point range in 30 minutes per game.
