Report: Cincinnati Bengals to interview Florida’s Todd Grantham for DC role

The Cincinnati Bengals will interview the University of Florida’s Todd Grantham for their defensive coordinator role, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Grantham has held eight different roles over the last 20 years. Four of those came in the NFL, yet his most recent NFL experience was in 2009 as the defensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys.

Since then, Grantham has jumped around from many major collegiate programs, the most noteworthy being the University of Georgia.

Grantham’s Gators were in the top-50 in opponent’s yards per game this past season. His track record of success isn’t necessarily ideal, but for Taylor, Grantham may be the perfect fit.

With just a handful of roles remaining following the Bengals’ hiring spree, Grantham would join a group of top-tier coaches, many of which are working in Cincinnati for the first time.
