Report: Chase Young files trademark for ‘Terrorize the Moment’ slogan

Chase Young was drafted by the Washington Redskins less than four days ago, and he already reportedly has a filing in for his own trademark in the NFL. That was fast.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, the newest member of the Redskins filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to lock down the phrase, “Terrorize the Moment.”

“According to records, the 21-year-old defensive end filed his application back in February hoping to use the phrase on everything from hats to hoodies, jackets, pants, and more,” TMZ wrote.It was made clear after the first night of the draft that Chase had apparently signed an endorsement deal with Beats by Dre after a commercial by the company featured his rise to glory, and Young also had partnered with Old Spice deodorant, where he will join fellow teammate Montez Sweat in the battle against body odor.

It is unclear what exactly Young will do with his ‘Terrorize the Moment’ trademark other than putting it on clothes, but it is clear that he is intent on building a brand, and he’s well on his way to becoming a superstar in the NFL.
