Per NBC Sports Boston’s Chris Forsberg, the highly anticipated Eastern Conference semifinals series matchup between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks is scheduled for Sunday at 1 P.M. EST.
The Celtics and Bucks — who both swept their first round opponents — will be fight between two heavyweight teams, with Boston projected to reach the 2019 NBA Finals by the majority of analysts due to a roster whose talent level was perceived to be second to the Golden State Warriors. Milwaukee, who finished the season with the best record in the NBA (60-22), is being led by a top-two MVP candidate this season in Giannis Antetokounmpo.
That said, while the Celtics showed significant progress as a team in their first round series against the Indiana Pacers, in reality the Bucks are a formidable foe that will only be defeated if Boston brings their A-game and the fire that fueled them in their series against the Pacers.
The Celtics were 1-2 against Milwaukee in the regular season.
