Report: Case Keenum practices on Thursday without a noticeable limp

The sight of Redskins quarterback Case Keenum sporting a protective walking boot on Wednesday afternoon gave fans in Washington a quick fright or a welcomed relief. However, the starting quarterback was back on the field Thursday afternoon when the Redskins started practice, participating in individual drills and operating without a noticeable limp.

Alongside him on the field was backup quarterback, Colt McCoy, who has been rehabbing from a broken leg suffered last year. McCoy is yet to play in live-action yet this season, though he has done some passing work in practice so far. It is expected that McCoy could be nearing a complete recovery soon, and if things keep going the way they have been with Keenum, he could see some game action before long.
