REPORT: Cardinals RB David Johnson expected to play vs. Giants

The Arizona Cardinals listed running back David Johnson officially on the final injury report of the week as questionable with an ankle injury. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury indicated whether he would play would be a decision made on Sunday. That decision has apparently been all but made.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Johnson is expected to play.

Johnson was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday with the injury and Kingsbury said if Johnson had to play on Friday, he would have been unable to.

Johnson leads the Cardinals with 298 rushing yards this season. He is second on the team with 30 receptions and 315 yards. He leads the team with three touchdown receptions and five total touchdowns.

He has had at least 100 yards from scrimmage in four of the team’s six games this season.
