Cardinals trade QB Josh Rosen to Dolphins for 2nd-round pick

After using the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft on Kyler Murray, the Arizona Cardinals are trading the quarterback they traded up for just a year ago.

The No. 10 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft, Rosen took his rookie lumps with the worst team in the league, a difficult season that led to the firing of coach Steve Wilks after just one year, and afforded the Cardinals the pick that turned into Rosen’s replacement.

For the Dolphins, who traded Ryan Tannehill and signed veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick this offseason, they finally have a young franchise quarterback for new coach Brian Flores to build around.
