REPORT: Cardinals among teams most interested in WR Antonio Brown

When it comes to the market for unhappy Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, there is some interest. Over the weekend, there were three teams named as being the frontrunners to land him. The Arizona Cardinals were not among those teams.

However, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals are one of three teams showing the most interest in Brown.

The Cardinals do have a need at receiver, and adding Brown would give them a nice trio with Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk. However, there are risks.

And if the Steelers want a second-round pick, the Cardinals can beat anyone else’s offer, as they have the first pick of the second round.

The question is whether he is worth the risk of messing with team chemistry with a second-year quarterback and first-time coach in the NFL.

Brown undoubtedly would make the Cardinals better. No one has ever questioned his work ethic or production. The major concern is whether the headaches that can come are worth the money and the compensation.
