Report: Browns waive WR Ricardo Louis

The first day of the offseason gathering in Berea for Browns players wound up being Black Monday for one of the veterans. The team has released wide receiver Ricardo Louis, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com

Louis missed the 2018 season with a neck injury that required surgery. He led all Browns wide receivers in 2017 with 27 receptions and 357 yards. For his career, the 6-2, 215-pound outside speedster has 45 receptions but has yet to score his first NFL TD.

Louis joins Derrick Kindred as members of the Browns draft class of 2016 who got whacked from the roster on Monday. Both were fourth-round picks that year.
