Report: Browns rookie RB LJ Scott decides to quit NFL after just 2 days

Just two days after signing with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent, running back LJ Scott decided to leave the Cleveland Browns.

Scott was not present in Berea for Wednesday’s OTA session, and a report later came out from his hometown of Youngstown that Scott decided the NFL just wasn’t for him. He had joined the Browns on Monday, and there was some buzz around the rookie power back from Michigan State — which he left early to jump to the NFL Draft.

Alas, it appears Scott decided the NFL just was not going to be a successful pursuit for him.

There has not been any official roster move, so perhaps Scott will change his mind. Even if he does, it’s not a good sign that he wanted to quit after just two days with the Browns.
