Report: Browns fear RT Jack Conklin tore patella tendon in knee

The Cleveland Browns will be licking their wounds for two weeks between games against the Baltimore Ravens. The team had all kinds of chances to win the game with Lamar Jackson throwing four interceptions.

As discussed last night, the offense failed the defense but the bigger concern was the loss of right tackle Jack Conklin.

Conklin took a bullrush from Ravens rookie Odafe Oweh and was knocked over. The Browns starting right tackle stayed down and trainers attended to him on the field. As Conklin and the trainers were walking off the field, the big tackle seemed to have more pain leading to him hopping on his left leg.

Cleveland is concerned, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, that Conklin will be out for a while:

According to one medical professional, a torn patella could put the start of the 2022 season at risk:

In his place, Blake Hance stepped in at right tackle. Baltimore attacked his side regularly leading to struggles for the offensive line.
