Report: Breshad Perriman now wants out of his Browns deal

Breshad Perriman agreed to terms with the Cleveland Browns on a 1-year contract just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday. His contentment with sticking in Cleveland did not last long.

According to a report from cleveland.com, the wide receiver was hoping to get out of the deal by 9 p.m. thanks to the Browns major trade to bring in Odell Beckham Jr.

Perriman’s newfound apprehension makes sense. Beckham is an All-Pro and plays the same role in the offense as he does, and the opportunity for playing time and future contractual riches effectively went out the window with the trade.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out with Perriman and the Browns.
