Report: Bills to sign ex-Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson

Former Houston Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson could find a home with the Buffalo Bills.

The 2015 first-round pick from Wake Forest is expected to sign with the AFC East club, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The move would allow the 26-year-old to continue his football career in a new city. Concussions were a problem for Johnson in 2018 as he sustained one in the second preseason game and immediately got another in Week 1 at New England.

Johnson started in 18 of his 35 games played for Houston, collecting 122 combined tackles, one interception, 14 pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.
