Bengals sign Tyler Boyd to 4-year extension

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed wide receiver Tyler Boyd to a four-year extension worth $43 million, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It’s an expected move from the front office that hasn’t been shy about wanting to get something done.

Boyd broke out last season with 1,028 yards and seven touchdowns despite starting quarterback Andy Dalton going down and star wideout A.J. Green being in and out of the lineup with injuries.

This offseason, Boyd has been adamant he wouldn’t skip training camp over his contractual situation because he knew the team would take care of it. He’ll head to Saturday’s camp opener with a new deal in hand.

Next up for the Bengals is an extension for Green.
