Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver John Ross left Monday night’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers with his arm in a sling.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Ross will miss multiple games with a shoulder injury.
It’s not too much of a surprise. Ross came down hard on his shoulder and didn’t return, leaving the field after a visit to the blue tent on the sideline.
Ross has had past run-ins with shoulder issues, including surgery, so if he’s lucky the initial report here will hold true and he won’t miss further time.
The news comes after a Monday night report revealed A.J. Green will remain out longer than expected. Ross is currently the team’s leading receiver.
