Report: Bengals hosting OT Riley Reiff on free-agent visit

The Cincinnati Bengals are kicking into gear when it comes to the offensive line in free agency, setting up a visit with offensive tackle Riley Reiff.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news.

Reiff, 32, was a cap cut by the Minnesota Vikings in early March after he appeared in 15 games last year and let up just one sack over 1,003 snaps, finishing with a 71.4 Pro Football Focus grade.

A first-round pick in 2012, Reiff hasn’t missed more than two games in a season and was largely a cut in Minnesota because the Vikings have cap issues.

The Bengals haven’t done much for the offensive line in front of Joe Burrow to this point as big names like Joe Thuney found homes elsewhere. But Reiff could be a sort of stop-gap solution on presumably either side of the line. Adding him still wouldn’t stop the team from drafting someone like Penei Sewell at fifth overall.

At the same time, the Bengals have also submitted an offer to top-of-market wideout Kenny Golladay.
