Report: Bengals host Michigan LB Devin Bush on predraft visit

It is no secret the Cincinnati Bengals have an interest in the linebacker position ahead of the 2019 NFL draft.

Those Bengals have a workout planned with LSU linebacker Devin White. They also reportedly hosted Michigan’s Devin White recently, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Bush was actually the pick for the Bengals in Mel Kiper’s latest mock draft. White is now considered a candidate to come off the board as early as fifth, so Bush at No. 11 would make some sense.

Standing at 5’11” and 234 pounds, Bush is a little undersized but never had a problem keeping pace in the Big Ten. Strong testing numbers and natural outside linebacker potential make him an obvious first-round prospect.

Whether 11th is too high is a different conversation. But the Bengals were seemingly always going to work with Bush ahead of the draft and he’s a legitimate candidate to join a team looking for a leader after the departure of Vontaze Burfict.
