Report: Bengals have told teams calling about A.J. Green he’s not available

In another sign the Cincinanti Bengals don’t plan to do anything major at the NFL trade deadline, a new report says teams that have called about A.J. Green keep getting turned away.

According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the front office is getting calls: “Teams also called about Cincy WR AJ Green and have been told they aren’t trading him.”

Bengals coaches and the front office have remained adamant they won’t trade Green despite the team’s 0-7 status and the fact Green will be a free agent this offseason.

Green himself still isn’t 100 percent and now isn’t expected to return to the field until after the team’s Week 9 bye.

Sunday morning, a different report broke noting other teams have called about various Bengals players, with the front office making it clear to all that they don’t plan on making any major moves before the Tuesday trade deadline.
