Report: Bengals expected to hire Nick Eason as DL coach

The Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly found their next defensive line coach.

Nick Eason will be the man to serve in the capacity under new defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo:

Eason, 38, is a former fourth-round pick in the 2003 draft who played for a handful of teams before starting his coaching career in 2013 with the Cleveland Browns.

Interestingly enough, Eason took the defensive line gig with Vanderbilt this offseason before apparently decided to jump back to the NFL for the same position with the Bengals.

The Bengals lost Jacob Burney to retirement this offseason, so the line coach was simply another hire new head coach Zac Taylor was going to assist his coordinator in making.
