REPORT: Antonio Brown not expected to play this season, agent disagrees

According to ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter, sources within the league believe former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown won’t play this season once the investigation of Brown concludes. Brown was playing for the New England Patriots when sexual assault allegations surfaced leading to them to release Brown.

Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus disagrees and thinks Brown will have his name cleared and will be signed and back on a team soon.

“I believe the NFL should clear him after they interview him this week, and I expect he will be signed shortly after that,” Rosenhaus said.

Brown has been busy during his time without a team alternating between profanity-laced tirades declaring he’ll never play in the NFL again claiming racism only to follow it up with a tweet declaring his desire to play again.

Brown is scheduled to meet with the league on Thursday to present more evidence in this case in hopes of clearing his name.
