The Nao Santa María, built in 2018 by Spain’s Nao Victoria Foundation, is open to the public, offering a rare glimpse into the Age of Exploration.
Measuring 28 metres in length, the replica recreates the look and structure of a 15th-century carrack, combining historical design with modern safety adaptations.
Visitors can step inside to explore the crew quarters, captain’s cabin and cargo holds, where displays detail its transatlantic voyages and reveal the harsh realities of life at sea during Columbus’ time.
The ship remains in London until 8 June.
