The violent episode unfolded when 26-year-old Andre Gordon allegedly shot and killed three people, including his stepmother and sister, in Falls Township, Pennsylvania. Gordon then fled to New Jersey, where he engaged in a five-hour standoff with law enforcement before surrendering peacefully.
Fitzpatrick commended the swift and coordinated efforts of law enforcement agencies involved in tracking down the perpetrator and ensuring the safety of residents in the affected areas.
