Renewed appeal from cops as 13-year-old Lanarkshire girl yet to be found

Police in Wishaw have again stepped up their efforts to trace a missing 13-year-old girl.

We told you last week how Kerys Lynch disappeared after last being seen at Wishaw General Hospital around 9.25 pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.

It was the second time in less than a week that Kerys had gone missing - and police say they are concerned for her welfare.

Kerys is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, medium build, with dyed red/black hair.

When last seen she was wearing a green t-shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, grey leggings, black trainers, and a brown chequered ‘Gucci’ baseball cap.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman told Lanarkshire Live : “We’re appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace Kerys.

“Kerys was last seen leaving Wishaw Hospital around 9.30pm on Wednesday (July 14).

“She also has links to the Ayrshire area.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101.

Information can be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
