Melbourne Renegades captain Kane Richardson has achieved a rare BBL milestone as the Adelaide Strikers were bowled out 149 runs in Thursday night's fixture.
The Strikers were all out in 19 overs at Adelaide Oval with Richardson taking 4-32 and becoming just the third bowler to collect 100 BBL wickets.
Ben Laughlin (111) and Sydney Sixers stalwart Sean Abbott (106) are the all-time leading wicket-takers in the tournament.
Richardson now has 103 victims.
Adelaide's Jon Wells top-scored with 37 from 30 balls but the Strikers lost all their wickets for 115 runs after a flying start.
Opener Matt Short (32 from 17 balls) and Jake Weatherald (11 from eight) cracked 34 runs from the initial 17 deliveries.
But Renegades tweaker Zahir Khan (2-33) triggered the Strikers' slide with the last ball of the third over, bowling Weatherald and, in his next over, dismissing Short.
The Strikers reached 2-59 at the end of the six-over powerplay but Richardson soon struck twice to stifle the hosts' momentum.
Richardson collected his 100th BBL wicket by trapping Daniel Drew lbw for 12 and claimed three more victims, while his teammate Reece Topley took 3-32.
