American opera singer and soprano Renee Fleming – whose repertoire spans from classical to pop and indie rock – will take to the Concert Hall stage for a one-off performance in Sydney.
She’s performed with Georg Solti and Placido Dominingo, and was the first classical musician to perform the national anthem at the Superbowl in 2014. Now, after her Broadway debut, she will perform a number of her signature works including Ravel’s Shéhérazade and selections from Canteloube’s Songs of the Auvergne, accompanied by pianist Richard Bado.
