In-demand Renato Tapia's dad insists both Celtic and Rangers have shown interest in his son.
The Feyenoord midfielder won't renew his contract in Rotterdam and will leave the De Kuip in the coming weeks.
Both Celtic boss Neil Lennon and Rangers manager Steven Gerrard have been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old - who has earned a whopping 54 caps for his country.
Spanish side Celta Vigo were believed to be leading the chase, but his father Luis has revealed a move to Glasgow isn't out of the question.
He said: "I've read the reports saying that Renato has agreed to sign for Celta Vigo and they are not true.
"There are a number of clubs interested in him, including both Celtic and Rangers from Scotland and Angers in France.
"For the moment, he will see his contract out with Feyenoord and will continue to train there.
"Nothing has been decided about his next move and we are waiting on more offers."
MLS side LA Galaxy have also been linked with a move for the former Twente Enschede star, who can also play as a right back or central defender.
