'Reminds me of the Arsenal defence!' - Bernd Leno's lockdown update has got Gunners fans talking

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has had plenty to do so far this season in goal for the Gunners.

The German has had a busy time in between the sticks for the Gunners this season, making 104 saves in 28 appearances in the Premier League.

Leno has kept seven clean sheets for Arsenal in the league this season, but has conceded 36 goals and only Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has faced more shots than the German, with 117.

Like all Premier League players, Leno is currently not in action due to the Premier League being suspended indefinitely, with the Arsenal goalkeeper keeping fit at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Art de Roche's full Arsenal Q&A

And the Arsenal goalkeeper has shared a video of what he has been doing on social media, with Leno in his garden catching footballs with his dog in front of him for company.

In the video, Leno makes several routine catches as his dog fails to intercept the ball before it reaches the Arsenal man, and his canine friend in particular has sparked plenty of responses from Arsenal fans.

Here's what some of them have been saying about Leno's video.

Meanwhile, Leno has detailed the impact Inaki Cana Pavon - Mikel Arteta's goalkeeping coach - has had on Arsenal's goalkeeping corps since joining at the club in December.

Cana Pavon was brought to north London from Brentford to work alongside Sal Bibbo.

And Leno has been full of praise for the Spaniard.

"Inaki is working a little bit more physically. He's working a lot on dynamics but I think we all have the same mindset," Leno said in an interview with Arsenal's matchday programme.

"We work like a modern goalkeeping group under Inaki but we also did that before. The coaches always worked in a tactical way, a technical way, and the goalkeeper doesn't only save balls, the goalkeeper is a spare man with his feet to build up the game and also to defend very high.

"That's our job. It didn't change too much but of course every goalkeeper coach has his own way of working."
