A host of Lothian Buses services are changing across the Edinburgh area from Sunday (17 May).
The travel operator is making alterations to more than 20 services in the city, with East Coast Buses and Lothian Country also changing up some busy journeys in East and West Lothian.
As reported by Edinburgh Live earlier this week, 23 Edinburgh buses will be altered after Lothian analysed customer travel patterns and feedback to ensure their Critical Services Network meets the needs of essential workers.
In Edinburgh there will be revised timetables on services 3 and 4 with additional journeys in the Mayfield and Oxgangs areas. Service 16 will see an increased frequency between Silverknowes and Morningside while changes will be made to service 19 so journeys operate to and from Leith Street. Service 21 will be extended from Westside Plaza to Clovenstone Roundabout, and service 30 will run at an improved frequency.
Service 37/47 will have a revised timetable and a new hourly journey will be introduced between Penicuik Ladywood to Granton Harbour, with additional links to Straiton and NHS sites at Lauriston Place and the Western General. The last evening return journey to Cramond is being withdrawn from service 41, along with the Sunday service, while minor timetable changes are being made to 44.
Other minor changes will be made to services 1, 7, 11, 14, 22, 25, 26, 27, 31, 33, 34, 38, 48 and 63.
East Coast Buses are making changes to services 106, 113, 124 and 139 while Lothian Country changes apply to services X18, X27 and X28.
