Remembrance Day is a time to reflect and honour the lives lost in service and show our support to serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families.
This year, Remembrance Sunday falls on 14 November.
During the pandemic in 2020, Remembrance events across Greater Manchester were cancelled or limited due to Covid-19 restrictions.
But this year, Oldham will have 11 Remembrance Sunday services.
Held in conjunction with branches of the Royal British Legion, residents, uniformed services and representatives of all organisations are encouraged to attend the services and there will also be opportunities to place wreaths on the memorials.
