Remembering Twitter’s terrible post-draft Lamar Jackson takes

While some preached the Lamar Jackson gospel heading into the 2018 NFL draft, others were convinced that the Heisman Trophy winner and Louisville superstar would never find success as a quarterback at the next level.

Well, at just 24 years old, Jackson already has an NFL MVP award under his belt, and his ridiculous performance in the second half of Monday night’s overtime comeback win over the Indianapolis Colts (37-of-43, 442 yards passing, 4 TDs, 62 yards rushing) was just the latest example of his penchant for proving the haters wrong.

To that end, we thought it might be a good time to stroll down memory lane and relive some of the worst takes from draft weekend, when the Ravens traded up to the final pick of the first round to land Jackson:
