Remember Supermarket Sweep? Well it's back and here's how you can appear on it

It's time for a blast from the past, for Supermarket Sweep is making a comeback.

And you can even appear on it.

The hugely popular 90s TV show , made famous by the late Dale Winton, will be returning with This Morning host Rylan Clark-Neal on presenting duties.

While many of us while remember the slapstick sight of contestants dashing around a supermarket in search of inflatables there will be many, perhaps of a younger generation, who'll be unfamiliar with the format.

Well, it's pretty simple – those taking part are tasked with answering questions, and chasing around a store with a trolley in search of items given to them on a list. All while racing against the clock.

If that sounds right up up your street then you can star in the show yourself when it runs on ITV2 sometime in the not too distant future.

ITV say they want "fun, outgoing and dynamic pairs of couples, friends, school and work mates or family duos to take part" in the programme .

You need to be over 18 to apply, and for more information email gameshow-casting@thames.tv.
