Sloclap is consistently dropping patches, ensuring that Rematch’s blockbuster of a launch goes as smoothly as possible. Following the Patch 1.20.005, they are back with another bandage for the game, fixing two annoying problems a lot of us have been facing lately.
Releasing today, the Patch 1.20.007 might have already been auto-updated by your system. And since most players don’t know what it brings to the table, here’s a whole breakdown on everything it changes.
Connectivity Issues & Game Crashes Fixed

Thanks to Sloclap’s rapid response, two annoying bugs will no longer bother hardcore players. Here’s what the patch addresses.
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from reconnecting after the hardware was put in sleep mode.
- The game used to crash often when players scored a goal; this issue is also resolved.
These Bugs Were A Pain!
While I was unaware that the sleep mode problem existed for everyone, I’ve been experiencing it ever since the launch. The game refused to work with Quick Resume, Xbox’s signature feature. Every time I fired up my machine, the game used to get stuck on a never-ending loop of reconnecting, and the only fix was to quit the game completely and restart.
Luckily, I didn’t experience crashes on goal on my system, but many players in the community did. Since scoring a goal is already challenging in the game, being treated with a crash when you finally manage to score is a nightmare. Anyways, kudos to Sloclap again for their tremendous efforts.
