A new Rematch hotfix is on the way, and it aims to solve a handful of frustrating issues players have been dealing with since the last update. According to developers Sloclap, the patch has already been completed and is currently in the console certification process. Once approved, it will be deployed across supported platforms later this week.
The hotfix focuses primarily on three pain points. First are crashes, which have been impacting match stability for a portion of the community. For some players, these crashes have been intermittent, while others have complained that they’ve been much more frequent.
Second, the update targets a problem specific to users who play with a keyboard. Since the last build, some players have reported inconsistent or inaccurate aiming in matches, particularly when trying to line up precision shots. The hotfix includes a fix that restores expected performance and ensures keyboard controls behave consistently.
The third issue involves a gameplay exploit tied to the backward Push Ball maneuver. Prior to the patch, using Push Ball while moving backward could cause a noticeable speed drop, putting players at a disadvantage during transitions. The team has corrected this behavior, so movement speed remains balanced regardless of direction.
While the patch is still awaiting console approval, Sloclap expects the rollout to begin within the week. They closed their announcement with a thank-you to the community for its patience and feedback — especially from players who submitted crash reports and input data to help narrow down the root causes.
Once the hotfix arrives, users should see improved stability, smoother aiming, and more consistent movement mechanics.
