An incredible photo shows a car abandoned on its side by a roundabout in Bridgend following a crash.
Police attended a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision in the Broadlands area of the town.
Officers arrived to find that the driver of the white Citroen had already fled the scene, with the force joking that the offender's parking left a lot to be desired.
South Wales Police Roads Policing Unit said on Twitter on Saturday morning: “Inc 138 #team1rpuwest attending report of a single vehicle RTC at #Broadlands #Bridgend this morning.
“Driver had already left the area leaving their car at scene #notgoodparking #runbutcanthide.”
Failing to stop/report a road accident can be punished by an unlimited fine, up to six months in prison, penalty points on a driving licence or a driving ban.
