Rell Seas Sneak Peaks – Your Ultimate Guide to Upcoming Features & Gameplay

Rell Seas is an upcoming Roblox naval action-adventure RPG game based on the One Piece universe. This guide discusses everything we know about Rell Seas, from core features to mechanics to the massive world that the game is set in to prepare you for the release.

Everything We Know About Rell Seas

Rell Seas is developed by RELL Games (known for Shindo Life, Shinobi Life, and Shindo Life 2) and it aims to be the most authentic One Piece game on Roblox with its unique progression system and emphasis on freedom for the players to do whatever they want and still progress in the game.

The game has been in development for almost 4 years now and all the official sneak peaks and leaks have really fueled the hype for Rell Seas. Here's a closer look at everything we know about Rell Seas so far.

Core Gameplay Mechanics & Features

Multiple Rell Seas sneak peaks released on the RELLGames Youtube channel have given us a closer and detailed look at some of the core gameplay features and mechanics of Rell Seas. Let's take a closer look at these mechanics and features.

God Fruits

Much like other Roblox games based on One Piece, Rell Seas will also have mysterious fruits that players can collect while exploring the sea to gain unique powers and abilities. These will be called God Fruits and will be classified into three main classes:

Classes Description
Paramecia User gains the ability to manipulate their body and the surrounding environment. Some users can also generate a substance.
Logia User gains the ability to control and create a natural element and transform their body into said element.
Zoan User gains the ability to transform into an animal species.

The game might not release with all of the teased Fruits. Moreover, there won't be a gacha system to obtain God Fruits in Rell Seas. The best guess is you're just going to have to explore and find them out in the world.

Haki

Haki will be there in Rell Seas keeping things in balance and players can choose to main a God Fruit build or a Haki build. Just like in One Piece, there are three types of Haki in Rell Seas.

Haki Description
Armament Haki Uses spiritual energy to create a strong armor around the user. Multiple offensive and defensive applications. Armament Haki users can injure Logia-type God Fruit users.
Observation Haki Grants the user heightened senses including limited future sight.
Conquerors Haki Allows the user to intimidate and enforce their will on others.

Each type of Rell Seas Haki will reportedly have 5 to 6 different cards that players can choose and equip from. These cards will have certain aspects of a given Haki type. For example, there will be an Opportunity E. Heimer card of Observation Haki that will allow you to successfully dodge 8 attacks by using future sight.

Similarly, there will be different cards for all three types of Haki and players can choose and equip whichever one they want. You can also choose and equip cards from different types of Haki.

Combat System

Rell Seas combat sneak peak

Rell Seas combat is one of the most improved mechanics when you compare the latest sneak peaks (Rell Seas Not Movie 3) to the old ones, and rightly so.

You can use God Fruits, Haki, Weapons, and master different Fighting Styles. Fishman Karate, Electro, and Black Leg Style are three confirmed fighting styles that will be Rell Seas at release. But we'll definitely get a lot more by then.

Skills like timing and positioning also play a huge role when fighting. Mastering them will speed-up your progression and make you better.

Water combat has also been added to Rell Seas. Attacks will be slower, and you'll have to keep an eye on your oxygen levels as well. You can find small pockets of oxygen that spawn randomly near you. Go through them to increase your oxygen levels, but keep in mind that they won't work that well if you go too deep into the sea.

Ships & Sailing

Rell Seas Ships

Sailing is another central mechanic of Rell Seas, and Ships are a must-have companion to explore the seas, travel to different islands, and engage in intense naval combat. But what sets the Rell Seas Ships apart from other similar games is the extensive customizability. From the color of the ship to the color of its sails, to adding decorative items and changing the entire shape of a ship, there's plenty of mechanics for you to tinker with.

There are some nice naval combat, or ship combat, mechanics in the game too. Players can create weak points in a ship by focusing cannon fire on a specific area. Shipwrights can repair those weak points mid-battle to save their ships.

Submarines

Rell Seas Submarines

There are seven Depths in Rell Seas. Every depth level has a unique current and marine life. You can explore these depths in Sea Four and you'll need a Submarine or coated your ship, just like in One Piece, so it can withstand the pressure of the deep sea. However, even with a submarine or a coated ship, if you dwell in the deep sea for too long, you will eventually die.

World & Exploration

All Rell Seas gameplay sneak peaks have been in a single location so far. However, there will be multiple island and and seas to explore, bosses to fight, and activities to do in Rell Seas.

Bosses

Here are all the confirmed Rell Seas bosses. Some of them will become available as a mount after you defeat them, which you can read about below.

Mounts

Players will be able to obtain and ride different mounts in Rell Seas for quick travel. There will be three types of Rell Seas mounts available in the game- Land, Sky and Water. Below is a list of confirmed mounts in Rell Seas:

  • Dunky Owl
  • Mammoth
  • Drakus
  • Deer
  • Tiger
  • Crab
  • Shelly
  • Crocodile
  • Whale
  • Crab
  • Komachiyo
  • Billower Bike

Locations

Right now, we only know that Rell Seas will have four seas for players to explore. There will also be a few caves and trenches under water for players to explore. However, there's no information about any of the islands in the game so far.

Fishing

Fishing in Rell Seas can also help with progression. You'll need a fishing rod and bait to fish in the many seas of the game and try to catch every fish there is to complete the Fishing Dex (a codex that shows every fish you've caught and its related information).

The fishing mechanics are similar to Stardew Valley. A similar UI will pop up on your screen and you must keep the fish icon inside a diamond until the blue bar is full to reel it in successfully.

Rell Seas Release Date

Despite all the updates, we still don't have a Rell Seas release date. In the latest sneak peak video, the devs did say they are "trying their best to release the game before 2025 ends" but they also said "we don't want to rush things." So, it could be some time before we get an official release date. Make sure you bookmark this page to get the latest Rell Seas updates as soon as they come out.
