Relief for Nottingham Forest winger after opponent's mid-match positive coronavirus test

Alex Mighten has trained with the Nottingham Forest first team today after seeing England Under-19s game against Scotland abandoned at half-time over a positive coronavirus test.

England were winning 3-1 at the time on Friday, but the match was called off when Scotland head coach Billy Stark returned a positive test.

All players and staff had tested negative before the game, but a second round of tests was ordered after with a return meeting scheduled for Sunday.

That game was cancelled and Stark will self isolate for 10 days with the rest of the Scottish group isolating for 14 days as a precautionary measure.

Mighten was part of England's squad but he will not have to isolate and was pictured training with the Forest squad today as new manager Chris Hughton prepares to take charge of the side for the first time, at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
