Relief as missing vulnerable Orkney teen found safe and well

Police searching for teenage girl who vanished from her home in Orkney has been traced safe and well.

Concerns were raised after Casey Scott, from the Kirkwall area, went missing at around 8pm yesterday.

Police raised the alarm at 2am this morning and appealed to the public for help find the missing 16-year-old.

Cops launch hunt for missing Orkney girl, 16, just SIX hours after disappearance

Police Scotland has now confirmed she has been traced and thanked the public for their help.
