Former Nottingham Forest youngster Alex Iacovitti has secured a move to Ross County ahead of next season.
The 22-year-old defender was released by the Reds during the summer of 2019, paving the way for him to complete a free transfer to Oldham Athletic.
During the 2019-20 season, Iacovitti made 24 League Two appearances for the Boundary Park outfit - and has now attracted interest from the top division in Scotland.
The Nottingham-born defender only penned a one-year deal at Oldham, allowing him to complete this move for free.
“Its great to get Alex on board," said Ross County boss Stuart Kettlewell. "When we knew of his availability, we were really keen to speak with him and we managed to showcase our ambitions which has led to Alex now coming to the club.
“You only have to look at some of the clubs Alex has played for, and the number of appearances he has made for them, to realise that he has some very good experience for a young player."
He added: "We know that we have a very focused and ambitious player and we look forward to helping him to develop here in Dingwall.”
During his time at the City Ground, Iacovitti made just two appearances in Garibaldi, but enjoyed loan spells with Mansfield Town, Forest Green Rovers and Oldham.
