The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is calling for people with disabilities who have not registered for the allowance in the past to show up when registration again opens next month.
City Hall announced that registration for a disability allowance for the 2018 fiscal year opens from Nov 1-30 at all 50 district offices across Bangkok.
New claimants are asked to register at the district offices where they live and bring with them necessary documents, including people with disability ID cards.
To be eligible they must not currently be receiving financial assistance from a government agency. The allowance is set at 800 baht a month.
