A further 18 patients have died after testing positive for covid-19 in Liverpool City Region Hospitals.
The latest update from NHS reported new deaths across various NHS Trusts in our region.
While infection rates are now falling across the region, the impact of the virus is still being felt in our hospitals.
Liverpool's main Trust added five deaths to its total, with the same number added at Wirral's main Trust.
There were four further covid-19 deaths recorded at Southport's NHS Trust, with three added at the St Helens and Knowsley Trust.
One additional covid-19 death has been recorded at the Trust covering Halton and Warrington.

Across English hospitals, the NHS recorded a further 330 covid-19 deaths.

This brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 36,842.
Amongst the latest patient deaths was a 30-year-old who had no known underlying health conditions.
The dates of death in the latest update range from 29 October to 16 November 2020 with the majority being on or after 13 November.
