Reggie Miller playfully mocks the Knicks over recent feud with Spike Lee

Spike Lee has long been the New York Knicks’ most notable celebrity fan. He’s there at nearly every Knicks home game, sitting at the same courtside seat at Madison Square Garden that he’s occupied for decades.

But at least for the rest of the 2020 season, Lee is done with the Knicks. And even Spike Lee’s old rival had to join in on the Knicks roasting.

In case you haven’t caught up on the drama, video hit Twitter on Monday night of Lee getting into an argument with MSG staff. The Knicks tried to spin the video as a misunderstanding over an employee-entrance policy, but on Tuesday, Lee went on ESPN’s First Take to undercut the Knicks’ narrative entirely.

Reggie Miller, who had an infamous back-and-forth with Lee during the 1995 NBA playoffs, used Lee’s feud as another reason to mock the Knicks.

Miller jokingly tried to recruit Lee over to the Pacers, saying that this incident wouldn’t happen at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

While it doesn’t sound like Lee plans to give up on his Knicks fandom, he’s done with the team for this season. It’s just another example of James Dolan alienating Knicks fans.
