A man who is believed to have been knifed to death by two men for his £60,000 watch has been named as Zahir Visiter.
Mr Visiter, 24, was stabbed near his home on Thursday evening after waving off his parents and two younger brothers as they left for a holiday.
It's believed his attackers ran half a mile to Central London Mosque during busy prayer time, where they changed their clothes and began washing their hands and feet among worshippers.
Armed police sealed off the mosque at around 6.15pm before searching inside and the surrounding areas.
It's understood the suspects fled the area.
Mr Visiter was originally from the Russian republic of Chechnya, reports the Mail .

Witnesses said he had been attacked by a nearby canal before staggering back to his estate.
He was found with stab wounds at Cunningham Place, in Lisson Grove, Westminster.
A friend said Visiter had been wearing an expensive watch at the time he was attacked, which was hanging from his wrist as if someone had attempted to remove it.
The friend said Visiter had been worried about his safety before the attack, saying he was "in trouble".
They added: "He’d had an argument with someone which might have been about a girl.

"What he was doing with a watch like this I don’t know."
The friend said Visiter was loved by everyone and was "full of life".
Another friend said he was from a good family and often helped elderly neighbours carry their shopping.
Paramedics performed CPR on Mr Visiter for half an hour at the scene, before transferring him to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
