Regatta taking on former Monsoon unit at Llandudno retail park

National retailer Regatta is taking on the former Monsoon and Accessorize store at Parc Llandudno shopping park.

The chain closed the Llandudno store last year as the pandemic hit retail across the UK and chains reduced their store portfolios.

Now outdoor and leisure brand Regatta is taking on the unit and currently fitting out the site.

Jo Black, retail director at Regatta, said: “This really is an exciting time for the Regatta brand to be opening in Llandudno - a fabulous market place.

“Our customers can expect to receive great service, great brands and see an incredible range suitable for all the family at affordable prices as we look to inspire more and more people to fall in love with the great outdoors.”

It would be the first Regatta store in North Wales.

The Llandudno retail park has also seen Outfit and Debenhams close - although Marks and Spencer are due to relocate from Mostyn Street to take on the large Debenhams unit.

The resort has also seen a surge of lettings in the town centre with independents taking on sites.
