Refugees in Karachi struggle without basic rights

About 300,000 Bengali and Rohingya refugees living in Pakistan are hoping that some of them could soon get Pakistani citizenship - after a statement by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Many of them have been living in the country for 40 years.

The majority are languishing in makeshift shelters.

Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder reports from Karachi.
