Reflecting on Mavs star Luka Doncic's first season-and-a-half and looking at what lies ahead

SACRAMENTO, Calif. _ Wednesday night's game against the Kings marked the midway point of the Mavericks' season and, likewise, Luka Doncic's sophomore year in the NBA.

Milestones of greater significance loom for Doncic, starting next Thursday when it's expected that he will be named as the first Maverick All-Star starter since Dirk Nowitzki in 2010 and the youngest Maverick ever named to the squad.

Next month, Feb. 28 to be exact, is Doncic's 21st birthday.

Here, though, we bring you Luka 1.5, catching up with Doncic, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, coach Rick Carlisle and Doncic's agent, Bill Duffy, as they reflect on his first season-and-a-half and look ahead at what's to come:
