David Coote has been appointed referee for Leeds United's clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.
He is a ref plenty of Leeds fans will be familiar with after previously taking charge of a number of their recent games in the Championship.
Arguably his most notorious moment when taking charge of a Whites game was in their 4-3 defeat to Millwall in 2017/18 season.
After Liam Cooper had committed a foul, it looked like Coote would give the defender a booking, only to reach for his top pocket after being surrounded by Millwall players and send the Leeds man off.
He was also responsible for showing Kiko Casilla a late red card in Leeds' defeat to Sheffield United in 2018/19 - a huge match that saw the Blades go above Marcelo Bielsa's side in the promotion race.
The Blades eventually went on to win promotion at Leeds' expense.
Last time Coote took charge of a Leeds game was last season, when the Whites saw off West Bromwich Albion 1-0 in October 2019.
Coote booked Bielsa in that game for breaking technical area rules due to having too many coaches giving tactical instructions at the same time.
Bielsa said at the time: "I deserve it, the yellow card.
"There is a rule, you can put only two coaches and we don’t realise about that when we are coaching there and after we used to make this mistake that we have more than two coaches close to the pitch."
His overall record for taking charge of Leeds matches sees the Whites winning six of the 11 games he has refereed them in with four losses.
He has shown Leeds 13 yellows and two reds in those matches.
Coote was promoted to the Premier League for matches last season and, in January, was named on the FIFA list of referees.
Yet Wolves have bad memories of Coote themselves.
The Nottinghamshire-based referee missed a stamp on Conor Coady by Jack Grealish in 2016, which was subsequently reviewed by the FA and saw the Aston Villa midfielder handed a three-match ban.
Coote has taken charge of three Premier League games for Wolves since their promotion from the Championship, with the Molineux-based side winning one, drawing one and losing one.
Overall, Coote has taken charge of 15 Wolves games, with Wolves winning six and drawing four.
In those matches, he has shown 28 yellows to Wolves and one red.
Lee Betts and Nick Hopton are the assistant referees for the game, with Andre Marriner fourth official.
Michael Oliver will take charge of VAR for the game.
It looks set to be a busy weekend for Coote, who will also take charge of VAR for the Merseyside derby on Saturday afternoon.
