Referee books Kaka before posing for selfie with Brazil legend during charity match

You've heard about starstruck fans interrupting matches to try and grab pictures with their favourite sport stars, but how about the referee?

That is exactly what happened on Tuesday as a team of Brazil legends featuring the likes of Ronaldinho, Bebeto, Cafu, Rivaldo and Roberto Carlos faced their Israeli counterparts in a charity contest.

A combined lineup of some of the Selecao's 1994 and 2002 World Cup winners triumphed 4-2, but the viral moment of the match did not feature any of the goals.

Instead, the clip doing the rounds on social media depicts the referee stopping Brazil playmaker Kaka as he looked to set up another attack five minutes after the break in order to show him a seemingly innocuous yellow card.

After brandishing the card, the official then incredibly pulls out a phone to take a selfie with the former AC Milan and Real Madrid star, who obliges with a smile as a chuckling Rivaldo watches on.

Kaka's team-mates can then be seen shaking hands with the referee before play resumes.

Kaka notched a free-kick for Brazil on the night, while Bebeto, Ronaldinho and Marcio Amoroso also scored on a memorable evening in Haifa.
