The referee has been announced for Arsenal's trip to Sheffield United in the Premier League.
And it's fantastic news for Unai Emery as he bids to stretch the Gunners' unbeaten run across all competitions to nine games.
However, as pointed out on Twitter by Orbinho - the head of the Analytics team at Opta - the Gunners are yet to win away against the Blades in four Premier League meetings.
Hopes of improving that record on Monday night have been boosted following news of the referee appointment.
Mike Dean will take charge of the clash at Bramall Lane and the Gunners do have a good record when he has been the man in the middle since September 2015.
Just last season the 51-year-old oversaw five Arsenal games across all competitions and Emery's side were victorious in them all.
Three of those games were at the Emirates and interestingly Alexandre Lacazette found the back of the net in all of them - vs. Brentford in the Carabao Cup as well as vs. Tottenham Hotspur and Cardiff City in the Premier League.
In addition, he oversaw Arsenal's 2-1 victory against Burnley at the beginning of this season.
Emery will hope it's seventh time lucky as a win for the Gunners would ensure they stay in the top three - at the very least - once this round of Premier League fixtures are over.
Overall, the official from Heswall has refereed 70 games across all competitions involving the Gunners ever since his first in 2000 and that's yielded 33 victories and 16 losses.
Darren Cann and Dan Robathan are the assistant referees, with Simon Hooper on fourth official duty at the Emirates Stadium.
VAR will also be in use with Andre Marriner and Neil Davies undertaking those duties.
