Referee and match officials revealed for Nottingham Forest trip to Derby County

The EFL have announced the team of match officials to take charge of this weekend's East Midlands derby.

Nottingham Forest will travel to Derby County's Pride Park Stadium on Saturday (August 28) yet to register a point in the Championship and winless in four league matches.

The Reds have lost to Coventry City, Blackburn Rovers, Bournemouth and Stoke City.

Tim Robinson is to lead the match officials at Pride Park on Saturday.

The Championship referee officiated 40 matches in the second tier last season, brandishing 123 yellow cards and five red cards.

This season he has taken charge of four matches and handed out 20 bookings.

Robinson led Derby's 1-0 win at Queens Park Rangers in January 2021 as well as a 2-1 loss at Watford the following month.

He was last involved in a Forest match on May 1 in a 0-0 draw at Sheffield Wednesday.

Since January 2019, Forest have a win rate of 29% having won two of their seven matches under Robinson's guidance.

A 1-1 draw at Luton Town last season in which Nicholas Ioannou was sent off for the Reds is included among those fixtures.

Nigel Lugg and Daniel Leach will assist Robinson from the touchlines, while Stephen Martin has been appointed as the fourth official.
