Doting mum Reese Witherspoon was feeling like a proud parent when she marked her son's 17th birthday with a moving social media message.
The 44-year-old actress proudly took to social media to unveil a cute photograph her look-alike son, Deacon, while showering the teenager with praise.
In the snap, Deacon cast a grin toward the camera as he stood outside in a picturesque garden.
The youngster, who is also an up-and-coming musician, modelled a white t-shirt and a long pendant as he posed for the cute snap.
Sharing the post with her 24.4 million Instagram followers, the mum of three also expressed her excitement about celebrating his birthday later on Thursday.
"Happy Birthday to my wonderful son @deaconphillippe!" Reese penned on Instagram.
"My bright light/ hardworking / fun-loving / music making / deeply kind son, who always finds the good in everyone and everything.

Reese's fans quickly rushed to share their approval of the post and wish Deacon a Happy Birthday in the comment section.

Reese's birthday celebrations came shortly after the Big Little Lies revealed the heartbreaking news that her French Bulldog had died in the middle of the night.
Just days ago, the Oscar-winning actress revealed to her fans that her pooch Pepper had tragically died.
In a heartbreaking message, the star shared a picture of her beloved pet on Instagram alongside a moving tribute.
She added at the time: "I am so heart broken, but I am also deeply grateful for all the love and comfort she brought our family.
"Now she’s in dog heaven where all great pets go. Chasing tennis balls, running through open fields of wild flowers and being the Queen that she is. That’s what I believe."
